For IIT Bombay's
Mood Indigo (Asia's largest student festival), we created a wall mural to represent the theme Retro Revival.
The design brings together elements from the older era of bollywood together with modern, instagram-era easter eggs.
Mr. Tumnus
The artwork features Rekha, in her iconic dance number, with a modern twist.
Flowers that represented 'romance' in old movies, feature along with 'likes' as floating hearts, dico ball appears with a chandelier and jhumkis are placed against airpods. Can you find more easter eggs?
I drew the artwork on procreate digitally, then brought it to the wall.
