Dystopian Future of Communication Design
What if we lost our language as we know it?
What if AI and tech giants took over all communication?
Neo Sapiens is a Speculative Design Project created during my Master's in Digital Design Futures at the Univerisity of Leeds. It explores the dystopian future of communication- or rather the lack thereof.
Tools such as Rapid Prototyping and a Virtual Reality Simulation helped dive deeper into this project and depict its elements.

The project is further explored through a Virtual Reality Scenario Building as a part of Speculative Design Process.
On the entering, the first scene shows two characters trying to communicate through their 'Neo Masks'. These masks censor communication, and show messages as texts on character's heads.
These messages are translated and controlled through a central system.
In the second scene, the characater is shown writing her personal thoughts in a secret journal that express her dissent.
