Summer Internship 2022

Visual Designer | Zomato

For my Internship project, I conceptualized, designed and illustrated a

Jigsaw Puzzle Game for online and offline branding.


The puzzle game would be given as a physical souvenir to Zomato users (on specific orders) and would be available to play digitally on the app as well.


Concept & Illustration

Z-moments: I came up with the concept of 'Z-moments' representing Zomato as a part of our everyday bits. I illustrated some scenarios like cricket-match days, virtual date nights and no-cooking days where Zomato comes in to play its sweet and crucial part!

Product & Objectives

With this project I wanted to recognize and present the value of Zomato in people's lives. 

I wanted to create and warm and home-like feeling that connects Zomato's customers with the brand deeply.

A key objective of the product is to get maximum Social Sharing, for which it is designed to be aesthetically pleasing, "insta-worthy" and has a certain level of exclusivity.

Packaging Design

The box is designed to make customers feel like family  -that they are special and valued.


I designed the cylindrical box which is compact and portable enough to be carried along with orders. The box consists of puzzle pieces, a thank you card along with a QR code on the outside that leads directly to the Zomato food ordering app.

Digital Puzzle (In-App)

In the app, one would play while waiting for the order and earn rewards which in turn would become offers on next orders.


The completed puzzle can be shared on social media apps, for example, on Instagram stories, to show off rewards, high scores etc.
